Susan Marie Pesch has concentrated her practice on family law since 1991. She has always viewed her legal career as a way to help people through some of the most vulnerable and challenging times in their lives. She believes that if parties can reach their own agreement and avoid protracted, expensive litigation, they are more likely to rebuild their lives and thrive afterward.

She also understands that the only way out of the dissolution process is through it.

Susan's client-centered ethos has allowed her to be a resource for her clients as well as a legal advocate. She has built a network of trusted family law professionals in the Denver Metro area to assist her clients, including certified divorce professionals in the areas of financial planning, real estate sales, mortgage lending, divorce coaching, and peer support groups.

Susan started her own practice in 1993 in Illinois, where she built a thriving clientele largely on word-of-mouth referrals. Susan has always prided herself on her ability to attune to the emotional aspects of divorce and its impact on the proceedings.

Although she no longer practices law in Illinois, she still cares deeply for her clients there. To best serve them, she appointed Attorney Michael J. Calabrese to accommodate her clients and referrals in Illinois. Both Susan and Mr. Calabrese have similar passions for the law and dedication to their clients.

Susan is also experienced in handling domestic relations matters, such as the allocation of parental responsibilities, child support, maintenance claims, protective orders, and division of the marital estate, including assets and liabilities.

Susan is experienced in various post-decree issues, such as enforcement or modification of maintenance, child support, parenting time, and decision-making. A skilled litigator in the courtroom and a tenacious negotiator at the mediation table, she has been formally trained as a collaborative law attorney and a family law mediator.
